CA Impact Corp is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation building practical tools, training, and navigation so small businesses, solo founders, and the people who support them can adopt artificial intelligence with confidence. This work operates under our flagship program, the FutureBridge Skills & Opportunity Initiative.

What we’re here to do.
Mission
FutureBridge helps adults and small-business communities adapt to a changing labor market by building practical digital and artificial-intelligence skills, clarifying career and training pathways, supporting employment readiness, and navigating trusted workforce resources.

Each program is being built to hand off cleanly into the next – from figuring out a plan, to building skills, to practicing them, to connecting with real training and employers, to helping local partners deliver all of it themselves.
FutureBridge Career Navigation
Most people don’t lack information – they lack a way to translate what they already know into a clear next step. This program turns a guided conversation into a written, realistic action plan.
Who It’s For
- Career changers and returning or underemployed workers
- Adults without a four-year degree
- Newcomers and small-business workers whose roles are shifting
What It Includes
- Guided intake covering goals, constraints, and current situation
- Inventory of past experience, translated into employer-facing language
- Occupation research using BLS, O*NET, My Next Move, and CareerOneStop
- A written action plan with next steps and a review date
- Warm referrals to American Job Centers and other verified providers
Digital & AI Skills for Work
Having access to a device or a generative-AI tool doesn’t mean knowing how to use it well, or safely. This program builds foundational digital literacy and responsible AI habits through eight practical modules.
Curriculum (8 Modules)
- 1. Digital foundations – email, cloud files, safe browsing
- 2. AI foundations – what generative AI is, and isn’t
- 3. Prompting – giving AI clear goals and constraints
- 4. Verification – catching errors and red flags
- 5. Privacy & security – what never goes into an AI tool
- 6. Workplace workflows – drafting, research, task organization
- 7. Human skills – judgment and knowing when to escalate
- 8. Personal adoption plan – one safe workflow, plus a review checklist
Format
- Pre/post knowledge check and a hands-on performance task
- A required verification exercise using AI output with deliberate errors
- Tool-agnostic content, reviewed on a quarterly basis
- Independent review of cybersecurity and accessibility content
Mentorship & Employment Readiness
Information alone rarely produces feedback, accountability, or practice under realistic conditions. This program pairs participants with structured mentoring and real rehearsal.
What It Includes
- Resume workshops, with clear disclosure of any AI-assisted drafting
- Mock interviews and workplace communication practice
- Structured 1:1 mentor meetings with a goal sheet and action items
- A small-business track on client communication and responsible AI use
Mentor Program Controls
- Identity verification and reference checks
- Training on role limits, confidentiality, and escalation
- A code of conduct – no solicitation, no guarantees
- A defined term per mentorship, with a complaint channel
Trusted Training & Resource Navigation
Federal, state, local, and nonprofit resources use different eligibility rules, portals, and terminology. This program is a growing, verified directory built to cut through that.
What It Includes
- Verified listings for official career data and American Job Centers
- Help understanding Workforce Pell-eligible programs as they roll out
- Direct links to state workforce agencies and small-business resources
- Every listing shows cost, format, duration, and data source
Quality Standard
- Official source preferred; secondary sources are labeled
- Provider identity and accreditation confirmed before listing
- Every entry shows a last-reviewed date and a named reviewer
- Broken links are logged and removed, not left live
Community Workforce Partnerships
Online content alone doesn’t solve device access, trust, or the need for in-person practice. This program turns local institutions into delivery partners.

As a nonprofit public charity, we follow standard governance safeguards: conflicts of interest are disclosed and reviewed by disinterested directors, and any technology or services obtained from a related party are documented at fair, arm’s-length terms.
Igor holds an engineering and teacher-radio-engineer qualification, credential-evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, along with additional training in public administration, programming, and technology commercialization. Before joining CA Impact Corp, he built and mentored startup-accelerator and business-skills programs, and has developed AI-enabled products used by small businesses and solo founders. He leads the design and implementation of the FutureBridge Skills & Opportunity Initiative.
